Here’s the ‘The Accountant 2’ trailer and fans can’t get enough! Directed by Gavin O’Connor, the sequel to the 2016 film ‘The Accountant’ stars Ben Affleck as the genius, mysterious Christian Wolff. The first movie made $155 million worldwide and was the #1 rented movie of 2017. Now the sequel is going to top that. Along with Affleck, the movie also features J.K. Simmons, Jon Bernthal, and Cynthia Addai-Robinson, all returning for more action.
In this one the stakes are higher. Agent Medina (played by Addai-Robinson) reaches out to Christian Wolff for help to solve the murder of her former boss who was killed by assassins. Brax (played by Jon Bernthal’s estranged brother) is in the mix. With Wolff back in the world he left behind expect big twists and intense moments. And the impact on Minnesota politics is huge so this is going to be even more fun.
The Accountant 2 comes out April 25, 2025. Anna Kendrick is not returning for this one but she’s busy with her own Amazon MGM Studios project ‘Another Simple Favor’ which streams in March. This sequel is brought to you by Artists Equity and produced by Amazon MGM Studios after Ben Affleck and Matt Damon’s company acquired the rights from Warner Bros.
